Terry D’Elisa, PsyD, ABPP, NCSP
Terry D’Elisa is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) with a doctoral degree in School Psychology. She completed her doctoral degree with concentrations in School Neuropsychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is Board Certified in School Psychology. While at PCOM, Dr. D’Elisa studied under Dr. George McCluskey, a renowned expert on ADHD and Executive Functioning. She has completed training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and uses both CBT and DBT in her therapy practice.
Dr. D’Elisa provides therapeutic support to children, teens and adults and coaching for parents to assist them in managing challenging behaviors and improving parent/child and co-parenting relationships. She completes neuropsychological evaluations and is experienced in the diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities and social/emotional disorders. She works with families and schools to provide neuropsychological evaluations and IEP recommendations and helps parents navigate the special education process.
Dr. D’Elisa is a long-time resident of Fairfield County and is the parent of 5 children.

Terry D’Elisa is experienced in the diagnosis of Autism, ADHD and Learning Disabilities, in addition to social/emotional disorders. She is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) with a doctoral degree in School Psychology. She completed her doctoral degree with concentrations in School Neuropsychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is Board Certified in School Psychology. While at PCOM, Dr. D’Elisa studied under Dr. George McCloskey, a renowned expert on ADHD and Executive Functioning. Prior to obtaining her doctorate, Dr. D’Elisa provided psychological services to students, ranging from pre-school through post high school, in both urban and suburban school districts.
In her therapy practice, Dr. D’Elisa uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a research-based treatment for depression and anxiety disorders, and solution-focused therapy to help clients improve their mental health and overall ability to deal with life’s challenges. In addition, she utilizes a positive psychology approach to help adolescents and adults identify their strengths and needs to make informed college choices and career path decisions.
Dr. D’Elisa is a 20-year resident of Fairfield County and is the parent of 5 children.
