Finding the right career path can be daunting for all high school and college graduates. The process involves self-reflecting on skill strengths and interests, preparing for the hiring process and planning for the future. It can be particularly challenging for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), especially when they struggle with communication, social interactions and executive functioning (EF).
Barbara Bissonnette, certified coach from Forward Motion Consulting, will provide practical tips for how parents and team members can help guide students on the Autism Spectrum through their career development process in a way that capitalizes on their strengths and helps them achieve success.
