A free, school-based evaluation is required by federal law to determine if a child is eligible for special education supports and related services in public school.

In this webinar, Mary Murphy, PhD, will explain the differences between school-based psycho-ed evaluations and clinical evaluations. She will show parents how to: 1) meaningfully participate in conversations to ensure that the right tests are selected to evaluate the child’s particular academic/cognitive challenges; 2) read/interpret standardized testing; 3) review data for trends over time; and 4) use test results to inform specific recommendations for goals/objectives that address the particular needs identified in the testing.
