For parents of midddle schoolers with and without ADHD and learning disabilities
Why does a capable middle schooler struggle to start homework, remember assignments, manage time, or follow through—despite knowing what to do?
In this interactive 90-minute workshop, education therapist Charlie Del Santo will help you understand the executive functioning skills behind these everyday challenges.
You will:
- Explore common middle school struggles with organization, time management, transitions, follow-through, and self-monitoring;
- Identify where and why your own child may be getting stuck;
- Connect everyday challenges to specific executive functioning skills;
- Learn practical strategies that can be used at home and at school; and
- Develop a simple, individualized plan to help your child build greater independence, confidence, and success.
Most importantly, you will obtain practical tools—not just advice to “get organized.”
