The language we use has a compelling influence on our kids. It plays an important role in their intellectual, social and emotional development, including their emotional regulation; social-dramatic play, social competency and friendships; kindness; and engagement in school. Pediatric language and literacy specialist Lydia Soifer, PhD will explore the power of words and how you can influence your children’s learning and behavior with the words you choose.

Dr. Soifer is a language pathologist with over 45 years of experience in clinical and private practice, as well as university teaching.
